Pearl, directed by Ti West, is set during the years of the First World War, when Pearl (Mia Goth) is a very young girl who lives on an isolated farm, where she takes care of her ailing father along with her mother. The girl dreams of becoming famous and living a fascinating life, like the one seen in the movies. Unfortunately Pearl doesn't have much hope of making her dreams come true, as her ambitions are held back by life on the farm and her parents, whom she would like to see dead.
