The Equalizer 3, directed by Antoine Fuqua, sees Denzel Washington reprise his role as Robert McCall, the retired ex-CIA agent, but always ready to jump into action when necessary. The man has decided to spend his retirement in a small village in southern Italy, where he seeks some sort of redemption from the crimes he committed as a government assassin. Now McCall consoles himself by pursuing justice in favor of the oppressed.
In the town where he lives, however, the citizens, including many of his new friends, are under the control of the local mafia boss. When things come to a head, McCall will find himself doing the only thing he can do, which is to defend his friends and challenge the power of the mafia.
