Aline - The voice of love, a film directed by Valérie Lemercier, is inspired by the life of Céline Dion, one of the most famous singers of all time.
Set towards the end of the 1960s in Quebec, it tells the story of a young woman born to a family, the Dieu, in which music is of great importance. So far everything normal, except that Aline (Valérie Lemercier), this is the girl's name, is the 14th daughter of Sylvette (Danielle Fichaud) and Anglomard (Roc LaFortune) and who, unlike her brothers, has a special gift : a wonderful voice.
Her singing talent is discovered by Guy-Claude Kamar (Sylvain Marcel), a music producer, determined to make her the greatest singer in the world. Supported by her family and aided by Guy-Claude, whom she later falls in love with, she Aline begins her ascent to the Olympus of music, becoming the queen of Las Vegas.
