Happily, the film directed by BenDavid Grabinski, follows the story of Tom (Joel McHale) and Janet (Kerry Bishé), a happy couple who have been married for fourteen years. The two live their love as if it were still the first day they met, nothing has changed, they are madly in love with each other. All their friends seem to be jealous and annoyed by the constant exchanges of affection that take place between the two and intend to keep the close-knit couple in check. Tom and Janet as a result begin to strongly doubt the loyalty of those around them.
One day they receive a visit from a mysterious stranger (Stephen Root) with a briefcase. Something happens, there is a corpse involved, an existential crisis and a weekend to spend with friends where things start to get complicated. Are friends really sincere people you can trust?
