Palm Springs, directed by Max Barbakow, tells the story of Nyles (Andy Samberg) and Sarah (Cristin Milioti), two young men who meet for the first time in Palm Springs at the wedding of her sister, Tala (Camila Mendes), with boyfriend Abe (Tyler Hoechlin). Sarah is the maid of honor and the black sheep of the family. Clearly drunk, Nyles decides to save her from a fool, improvising the toast speech instead.
The two bond immediately and there seems to be a certain attraction between them, but when Nyles is fatally hit by an arrow, shot by an elder named Roy (J.K. Simmons), he trudges towards a nearby cave, from which a mysterious light comes. Sarah decides to follow him inside the cave, unaware of what she expects of her, although he tells her not to enter.
This is how the two find themselves stuck in a time loop, forced to relive the day of November 9 forever and are desperate for a solution, which will put an end to the nightmare of spending a perfect day for a lifetime ...
