Someone Save Christmas 2, directed by Chris Columbus, tells of how Kate Pierce (Darby Camp), once a curious child, has become a cynical teenager. The girl is preparing to celebrate Christmas with her mother, her new partner and her son, Jack (Jahzir Bruno). But Kate is not very enthusiastic about this "new" family and she, tired of enduring the family dynamics created with the arrival of Jack and her father, she decides to escape.
She doesn't imagine Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) will go looking for her to ask her to help him save Christmas. The girl together with her stepbrother will be involved by Santa and Mrs. Claus (Goldie Hawn) in an exciting adventure: they will have to prevent the evil Belsnickel (Julian Dennison) from destroying the North Pole and canceling Christmas forever.
