New Olympus, a film directed by Ferzan Ozpetek, is set in the late 1970s and tells the story of two handsome young twenty-five-year-olds Pietro and Enea (Damiano Gavino and Andrea Di Luigi). They know each other by chance and, after their meeting, they fall madly in love with each other.
Due to a completely unexpected event, however, the couple is forced to separate. Despite time passing and the physical distance between them increasing, after thirty years the two young people still hope to find each other again, because they are both still in love like on the first day.
