Priscilla, the film directed by Sofia Coppola, is the adaptation of the autobiographical book Elvis and Me by Priscilla Beaulieu Presley published in 1985.
It tells the story of the couple, from their meeting in Germany when she was fourteen and he ten years older than her, up to the last day of the singer's life. Priscilla (Cailee Spaeny) who is the daughter of a strict United States Air Force officer, marries Elvis (Jacob Elordi) in 1967 at the age of twenty-two after eight years of engagement, and in '68 they had a daughter, Lisa Marie (Emily Mitchell) .
But life with the king of Rock'n Roll will not be easy, in fact in 1973 the two will divorce. At the center of the film are the most successful years of Elvis who will die at just forty-two in 1977, consumed by his unhealthy lifestyle.
