Lou, the film directed by Anna Foerster, tells the story of a woman, Lou (Allison Janney), who hopes to finally be able to lead a peaceful life after leaving several dangers behind. When a desperate mother (Jurnee Smollett) begs her to help save her kidnapped daughter, Lou realizes she has to give up her much-needed peace of mind.
As a storm rages, the two go after the kidnapper on a rescue mission into the wilderness. They will have to test their limits and in the process, the dark and shocking secrets of Lou's past will emerge.
