The Contractor, directed by Tarik Saleh, tells the story of James Harper (Chris Pine), a special forces sergeant who is unwittingly discharged and, as if that weren't enough, cut out of retirement. The man then finds himself full of debts, with no alternative and with a family to support. This is how Harper and his best friend (Ben Foster) decide to agree to work for a private military organization, run by a mysterious man (Kiefer Sutherland).
When entrusted with his first mission, Harper chooses not to complete it, but finds himself hunted and unable to return home. While on the run, as he tries to save his skin, he realizes he's been involved in a conspiracy and just needs to find out who betrayed him ...
