OSS 117: Alerte rouge en Afrique noire, a film directed by Nicolas Bedos, is set in 1981 and tells how the spy Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath (Jean Dujardin) aka Special Agent 117 finds himself involved in another daring mission. This time the secret agent will have to face an operation as delicate as it is dangerous, but he will not be alone. Together with him there is a new generation, the young Special Agent 1001 (Pierre Niney).
The two will have to go to Africa, precisely to Kenya, to help the local leader to quell the rebellions and subdue the rioters in the context of the Françafrique, or the neocolonial relationship established between France and its former African colonies.
