Cyrano, a film directed by Joe Wright, tells the story of Cyrano de Bergerac (Peter Dinklage), a skilled lyricist able to charm anyone who listens to him with brilliant puns, which have earned him several victories in verbal challenges. Despite his speech and ingenuity, Cyrano has never been able to declare his love for him to the beautiful Roxanne (Haley Bennett), due to both shyness and fear of being rejected for her appearance. In fact, the man does not see himself as handsome at all, on the contrary he is certain that his lack of attractiveness is one of the reasons - if not the main one - why he does not deserve to be reciprocated by Roxanne. Too bad that the latter ends up falling in love with Christian (Kelvin Harrison Jr.), who poor in dialectic and poetry, will be helped by Cyrano to find the right words of love ...
