Cry Macho, the film directed by Clint Eastwood, set in 1978, follows the story of Miko (Clint Eastwood), a former rodeo champion and horse trainer. Finding himself in financial difficulties, to earn easy money, Miko decides to accept from his former boss, the task of bringing home to Texas, Rafa (Eduardo Minett), the young son of the man, to protect him from the Mexican mother slave of the alcohol.
On the way back from Mexico to Texas, Miko and Rafa get to know each other better and become friends. The two will face unexpected adventures and dangers and if on the one hand the journey will represent for the young boy a reason for growth and knowledge, for the elderly breeder it will instead be an opportunity to free himself from the sins committed during his existence.
