Awake, the film directed by Mark Raso, is set in a world struck by an inexplicable catastrophe that has cut the electricity to the entire planet, putting out all electronic devices. The mysterious event also caused the entire population to no longer be able to sleep.
In an atmosphere of disorder and confusion, Jill (Gina Rodriguez), an ex-soldier with a stormy past, believes she has the solution to the problem: she is her daughter. However, she will have to face a race against time to be able to get her daughter to her destination and save the world, all this before she herself goes out of her mind.
