The Other Half is a Netflix original film directed by Alice Wu that stars a young, brilliant high school outsider, who will discover something more about herself and about love thanks to an unexpected friendship. Ellie Chu (Leah Lewis) lives with her father in the remote town of Squahamish, she is a student with great potential, which she uses to do homework - for a fee - for her schoolmates even though they make fun of her.
