You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!, the film directed by Sammi Cohen, follows the story of Stacy Friedman (Sunny Sandler), a 13-year-old girl who dreams of her Bat Mitzvah day.
Everything has to be perfect, the dress, the party, the guests, and her first kiss with Andy Goldfarb (Dylan Hoffman), her huge crush. Her accomplice in her preparations is her best friend Lydia (Samantha Lorraine), with whom she always confides about everything.
But her plans start to go awry when her mother Gabi (Jackie Sandler) forces her to buy a hideous dress she's ashamed of and rumors begin to swirl at school. Lydia and Dylan kissed without her knowledge.
