Saw X, the film directed by Kevin Greutert, is the tenth chapter of the Saw horror saga starring John Kramer, aka Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) and his deadly enigmas.
The story takes place between the events of Saw I and Saw II, Kramer sick with terminal cancer, has heard of a miraculous experimental cure practiced by a hospital in Mexico. He decides to leave to undergo an operation that could save his life.
After the operation, however, he discovers that the tumor has never been removed and that the whole procedure is a colossal scam that exploits the desperation of the sick. So he decides to use the time he has left to take revenge on the doctors who cheated him, and in full Jigsaw style he starts a ruthless game with them.
The victims are subjected to deadly puzzles and traps devised by his deranged and brilliant mind.
