Insidious: The Red Door, Patrick Wilson's film card, is the fifth chapter of the horror saga and takes place 10 years after the events of the second film. It will examine what happened to the Lamberts a decade earlier and what were the consequences of what happened.
Josh (Patrick Wilson) accompanies his son Dalton (Ty Simpkins), now in college age, in one of the prestigious Ivy League universities, located on the east coast. Unfortunately, however, the young man's college dream turns into a nightmare when he begins to be haunted by visions. Dalton discovers that demons from his past have come back to haunt not only him, but also his father.
To silence them once and for all, Josh and Dalton will have to embark on a journey to elsewhere, facing the terrible horrors that lurk behind the red door, in order to save the whole family.
