Orphan: First Kill, directed by William Brent Bell, is the prequel to the 2009 horror film about the youth of Leena Klammer (Isabelle Fuhrman), the woman with pituitary dwarfism, which gives her a childlike appearance. Leena spent her youth hospitalized in a psychiatric institution in Estonia, but after killing seven people, she manages to escape the hospital and reach America. Here she takes the name of Esther and she pretends to be a little girl looking for a family.
The woman manages to get adopted by a wealthy couple, who recently lost their daughter. This time, however, Leena will have to deal with her mother (Julia Stiles), willing to do anything to defend her family from the murderous fury of the little psychopath ...
