Baggio: The Divine Ponytail, a film directed by Letizia Lamartire, tells the story of Roberto Baggio (Andrea Arcangeli), one of the greatest players in football history, as well as one of the stars of Italian football in the 1980s and 1990s. The film traces over twenty years of career, starting from the difficult debut to the moments that most marked his life, such as the quarrels he had with various C.Ts such as Eriksson, Sacchi, Trapattoni, Capello and Lippi. Despite these relational disagreements, the Divin Codino, so nicknamed for his peculiar hair, has always proved to be a great champion both on and off the pitch. Many jerseys worn by the playmaker, from Vicenza to the great Serie A teams: Fiorentina, Juventus, Milan, Inter, Bologna and Brescia. But Baggio is also and above all remembered for having taken part in three world championships (Italy 1990, United States 1994 and France 1998).
