The Conference, the film directed by Patrik Eklund, takes place in a town on the shores of Lake Kolarsjön in Sweden, where a massive new shopping center will be built.
To do this, the municipality will have to sacrifice a lot of land which will take away work from the farmers in the area. Municipal employees are invited to go on a company trip to discuss the new work plan for the construction of the center.
Reluctantly, the employees leave for the picnic. The main purposes of the meeting are to create a close-knit group, establish mutual trust and ensure maximum commitment from all employees. But the conference soon turns into a terrible nightmare.
A mysterious man, wearing a disproportionate mask similar to that of a mascot, begins to mercilessly kill them one after the other...
