Don't Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde, is set in the 1950s and tells the story of Alice (Florence Pugh), a housewife married to Jack (Harry Styles), who lives with her husband in an isolated, experimental community and utopian, leading an idyllic existence. In this idealized community, which gathers happy families, there is the concept of social optimism, typical of that decade, and also carried on by the CEO himself Frank (Chris Pine), who manages every aspect of life in this idyllic place. The men spend their days in the headquarters of the Victory Project, a top-secret project dedicated to the "development of innovative materials". The women, including Frank's partner Shelley (Gemma Chan), spend time enjoying the community with her comforts and luxuries. Apparently the perfect life, where every resident's need is promptly satisfied by the company and the only thing asked in return is the work commitment and discretion on the project in progress.
When Alice begins to wonder what her husband does to Victory and for what purpose, she begins to suspect that Jack may have secrets from her. Soon she will realize that terrible things are hiding under the perfect veil of her appearance, which will cause her splendid life to unravel piece by piece.
