Nightmare Alley, a film directed by Guillermo del Toro, is the story of a barker (Bradley Cooper) of an amusement park, who in addition to carrying out the role of carousel, is also a very skilled scammer. He manages, in fact, with great ease to manipulate people, thanks to a short and impactful rhetoric. In order to make the most of his cheating, the man works with a psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett), who is more treacherous than him, to extort money from the spectators.
Also in the same amusement park are Molly (Rooney Mara), the head barker Clem (Willem Dafoe) and the strongman Bruno the Strongman (Ron Perlman).
