Blue Bayou, directed by Justin Chon, tells the story of an American family, formed by Kathy (Alicia Vikander), Antonio (Justin Chon) and little Jessie (Sydney Kowalske). Antonio is of Korean descent, but having been adopted as a child, he grew up in the Louisiana bayou. He is married to Kathy, her love of her life, and takes care of her daughter, Jessie, as if she were her own.
