Spencer, a film directed by Pablo Larraín, is a biopic about Lady Diana, played by Kristen Stewart. The story centers on a precise moment in Diana's life, when she in December 1991, during the Christmas holidays with the entire royal family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. The marriage between Diana and Prince Charles (Jack Farthing) has been adrift for some time now and the constant rumors of betrayals do nothing but weaken their bond more and more. Nevertheless, those feast days are a time of peace, in which the Princess can celebrate, go hunting, play and relax. Precisely in this Christmas atmosphere, Diana has the opportunity to reflect and make an important decision, that of leaving her husband.
The film reconstructs what may have happened in those days of celebration within the walls of Sandringham.
