Fly Me Away, the film directed by Christophe Barratier, follows the story of Thomas (Victor Belmondo), the son of a well-known doctor, who, at the age of almost 30, has not yet found his own way in life and still behaves like a teenager. Thomas is unemployed and the only thing he loves to do is have fun, go out and party every night. The father fed up with his son's immature behavior, hoping to stimulate Thomas and make him grow up, decides to entrust him with Marcus, a severely disabled 12-year-old patient. Despite his illness Marcus is a boy full of enthusiasm and interested in everything that is part of life. Thomas will have to take care of Marcus in the best possible way or else his father will kick him out of the house. An important friendship will be born between the two boys, which will allow Thomas to grow up and finally come to terms with reality, to bring him back to what really matters in life.
