The Life That Will Come, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, tells the story of Sandra (Clare Dunne), a young woman and mother, who tries to escape from an abusive husband. As if that were not enough, she also finds herself struggling against a corrupt housing system, which does not allow her to maintain a stable and suitable accommodation for her children.
This is how Sandra decides that the time has come to build a house on her own and, while she navigates between foundations and walls, the woman will be able to rediscover herself and start rebuilding her life piece by piece.
