Watch The Dry (2020) online

The Dry, the film directed by Robert Connolly, follows the story of Aaron Falk (Eric Bana), a police detective, who after 20 years returns to his hometown for the funeral of his old childhood friend Luke (Martin Dingle Wall). Local police believe that Luke killed his wife and son before taking his own life. It seems that the man was the victim of the desperation of a country put to the test by more than ten years of drought.
Falk reluctantly agrees to investigate the case to see if it is more than a homicide-suicide. The research will bring to light an old and deep wound that involved the detective several years earlier, that of the death of a 17-year-old girl, who was also a friend of Luke. Falk suspects that there is a connection between these two crimes and as he struggles to prove the innocence of his friend Luke and his, he will be forced to confront the prejudice and anger of the entire community.
