Let Him Go, the film directed by Thomas Bezucha, follows the story of George Blackledge (Kevin Costner), a retired sheriff and his wife Margaret (Diane Lane). The two, following the death of their son, move away from the ranch in Montana where they live, to search for their only grandson. The boy is in the Dakota and has fallen into the hands of a dangerous crime family led by matriarch Blanche Weboy (Lesley Manville). When they discover that she has no intention of letting the boy go, George and Margaret will be forced to fight hard for their family and their son's memory.
