The warmest summer, a film directed by Matteo Pilati, is set in a small village in southern Sicily and tells the story of a group of boys from a small provincial parish, grappling with love affairs, triangles and intrigues in a hot Italian summer. Lucia (Nicole Damiani) will leave for university at the end of the summer and will separate for the first time in a long time from her best friend Valentina (Alice Angelica). This summer is also important for Nicola (Gianmarco Saurino) because it is the last one before taking his vows as a priest.
In the small parish of Don Carlo (Nino Frassica), however, the arrival of the young Nicola will really bring a lot of havoc and above all euphoria in the town and in the girls grappling with the hot July sun...
