The Miracle Club, a film directed by Thaddeus O'Sullivan, is set in 1967 and tells the story of three women, Chrissie, Eileen and Lily (Laura Linney, Kathy Bates and Maggie Smith), who have a secret dream: to go to Lourdes . The three hope that during their visit to the sacred place they will be able to witness a miracle.
When Chrissie, Eileen and Lily manage to win a trip to the French town, they leave with great enthusiasm. Once they arrive in Lourdes, they have a surprise: the daughter of one of them unexpectedly joins their trip. The young new entry not only complicates things, but brings to light several conflicts and traumas that had remained dormant until then.
