The White Tiger , directed by Ramin Bahrani, tells the story of Balram Halwai (Adarsh Gourav), a poor Indian boy, who from his humble village is hired as a servant to Ashok (Rajkumar Rao) and Pinky (Priyanka Chopra). The two rich gentlemen have recently returned from America and are looking for a driver. This is how Balram, who grew up with the idea of becoming a perfect servant, proposes himself to them. Too bad that his owner, Ashok, begins over time to show an increasingly arrogant attitude towards the driver, until one night he betrays him, blaming him for an accident committed by himself.
It is from this moment that Balram, on the point of losing everything, decides to change, rebel against the servitude of his masters and ascend himself to the role of master with the name "The White Tiger" ...
